Robbie’s Secret Sigil

In his excellent book “Supergods” renowned comics writer and chaos magician Grant Morrison tells the story of how pop star Robbie Williams contacted him in 2005 asking him to turn him into a superhero for his next tour.

This evolved into, courtesy of Grant, an occult approach to the design of the sleeve of his Intensive Care album which contained “talismanic images and witchy hieroglyphs”.

What is especially interesting is that Grant planted a sigil on the cover.  He intended it to be activated “by finding the CD in the shops or pulling the cover up on-screen and pressing Robbie’s finger”.

“If enough of us do this,” he says,  “the world will most certainly enter a new Golden Age of peace, creativity and prosperity…”

We had all better get activating this sigil big style then!

  1. I am quite enjoying your blog. You’re probably one of the few I’ve seen whose written down their workings, in detail, on servitors.

    Thanks for that.
